PRODUCT COMPLIANCE MANAGER- Hybrid

The Product Compliance Manager promotes and verifies the purchase of compliant and safe goods across the company’s brands globally, and works with various stakeholder teams across the business to build programs that ensure an industry-leading compliant supply chain Partners with factories globally to reduce safety and compliance risks by overseeing efforts to build, maintain, and improve upon processes and procedures Leads and develops projects related to employee training, Customer relations, and processes, procedures, and technology intended to ensure the products we develop and sell comply with all relevant laws, regulations, safety requirements, and environmental sustainability standards in all relevant geographies Works with upstream and downstream supply chain partners to design, source and sell safe and compliant products and oversees the collection, retention, and dissemination of any required proof that products meet compliance requirements Oversees the processes, procedures, and technology necessary to enable us to cease the distribution or sale of noncompliant or unsafe goods Stays current on legal and business developments that impact the design and scale of the product-safety and compliance program. Acts as a subject matter expert to internal teams on global product compliance regulations Instills and maintains focus on continuous improvement regarding all aspects of product compliance Responsibilities: Manage product safety compliance operations: Play a leadership role in ensuring all new products meet Federal, State requirements / regulations Responsible for global product safety (GHS) & regional regulatory compliance for entire portfolio of products Ensure Safety Data Sheet documentation and GHS hazard label requirements are met for both new products and back catalog Support dangerous good classification and activities related to the release & compliance of dangerous goods products Maintain a global regulatory strategy that ensures full regulatory compliance Ensure 3rd party manufacturing is compliant: Work with our 3rd party factories to ensure compliance with Company and Retailer requirements including social compliance and raw material sourcing Required Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Computer proficiency including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Google suites (or related) applications Excellent communications skills (both oral and written) Demonstrated experience partnering with external stakeholders Self-directed and highly motivated 3+ years of comparable product safety and compliance experience. Hybrid Position - minimum 3 days per week in our Portsmouth NH office. All Candidates must be able to provide work related references.
