PROCUREMENT CATEGORY LEADER

It is all reflected in our corporate vision: “enhancing life through innovative garment solutions.” We are seeking a Procurement Category Leader to join our Global Sourcing & Procurement Team to support our operating units, managing indirect materials, services and packaging categories. The role is expected to work from our fiber manufacturing facility located in Waynesboro, VA, or in Wilmington DE, but with a global outreach. Reporting to the Americas Procurement Manager, the Procurement Category Leader is responsible for the following: Lead the Source to Contract process for indirect material, service and packaging categories including development and oversight of commodity strategies that ensure value creating, reliable, innovative sources of supply Lead supplier RFP and vendor selection processes Collaborate with Operations, Technical, Logistics and Business functions to identify and drive improvement and cost optimization initiatives Negotiate on-site services and professional services supply agreements, applying a thorough understanding of our company’s contract templates and risk terms Understand the supply risk for each essential material and service to ensure a viable risk mitigation strategy is actioned and routinely reviewed Develop, and actively share with stakeholders, knowledge of key markets including source options, price drivers and trends, and supplier innovations Manage supplier relationships with strategic and preferred vendors, including oversight of delivery and quality performance Ensure preferred supplier arrangements are leveraged across regions Utilize SAP reporting tools to analyze purchasing data and identify savings and risk mitigation opportunities Ensure purchasing practices are fully aligned with our company’s polices, internal financial controls, and compliance requirements Education, Experience, and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Procurement or related fields 4 + years previous Procurement/Sourcing/Supply Chain experience Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all functions and engage with 3rd parties Best practice source to contract expertise Proficient in computer applications including MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills Experience with SAP Purchase to Pay functionality (preferred) All Candidates must be able to provide work related references.
