PR Freelancer (Jewelry, Luxury, Fashion) New York City-based marketing and communications consultancy is seeking a self-starter with experience in public relations to support key accounts in the watches and jewelry category. Our roster represents leaders in the global luxury, fashion, and art landscape. The short-term assignment will focus on pitching key product launches to short and long lead media, managing press requests, and compiling account reports from January through March 2023, with the opportunity to renew. Responsibilities: Ongoing proactive media pitching to long and short lead media Managing press loans (note, our office does not house samples; request details are provided to the client and delivery logistics are handled in-house) Facilitating media appointments and interview requests for key event On-site event support including in New York City (tentative) Compiling client-facing reporting materials Qualifications 2-3 years working in fine or high jewelry, luxury timepieces/watches or other luxury goods Strong understanding of the luxury media landscape Ability to meet deadlines, work independently as well as collaboratively Excellent writing skills Proven track record in placing consistent and impactful press placements
