Planning Manager, eCommerce

The Company’s stock is traded on the NYSE under the symbol “CATO”. Responsibilities include: Partner with Sr. Planners to manage eCommerce open to buy sales, markdowns and inventory; Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders including: buyers, eCommerce team, planners, supply chain, MIO/IT and finance; Oversee the development and execution of eCommerce assortment planning process; Participate in Quarterly analysis and hindsight; Collaborate with eCommerce team to drive sales, increase site traffic and improve conversion rates; Identify opportunities to automate and enhance existing reporting and analysis processes; Team up with management to map out processes for drop ship, ship from stores, spoke-hub distribution and BOPIS; and Streamline efficiencies around eCommerce processes, while reducing manual workarounds. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Merchandising or Planning in a fashion retail environment; Previous multi-channel retail experience required; Experience in digital merchandising, product management or marketing preferred; Strong analytical skills, proficient with planning systems (e.g. JDA), proficient with Microsoft Office products; Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into trends and initiate action; Strong organizational and time management skills; Strong detail orientation and problem solving ability; Reacts to business trends in a timely and efficient manner; and Able to translate strategy into tactical, well-developed financial plans.
