We are very excited to have an opportunity available for a Merchandise Planning Manager to join the Carters team! Partner with the Buying team to develop a strategic assortment (across 4 seasons) that aligns to the financial targets. Improve inventory optimization through collaboration with the Buying, Pricing and Allocation teams. Verbalize any risk/opportunities in the business and recommend actions to correct/capitalize on those variances to plan Develop long term enhancements to support efficiencies in the execution of the merchandise planning and buying processes, such as assortment planning, inventory flow and sku productivity. Experience and Skills 7+ years Merchandise Planning experience including 3+ years of experience leading teams and developing direct reports in a planning role Demonstrated ability to lead and manage strategy and execution for multiple business areas with a high degree of complexity and change Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results.
