🔹 THE ROLE

We're not looking for someone who just loves fashion. We're looking for someone who loves people — and happens to be exceptional at style.

This is a part-time, contractor role for a Personal Stylist based in Boston, MA. The Personal Stylist will provide personalized fashion and image consulting services to clients, curate wardrobe selections, and collaborate with emerging brands and retailers. Key responsibilities include conducting styling consultations, delivering high-quality customer service, building long-term client relationships, and managing sales goals to provide an exceptional and personalized experience.

⚡ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to assess client needs, lifestyle, body type, and goals

• Perform closet audits and edits, identifying gaps and building cohesive, functional wardrobes

• Execute online curation across a wide range of budgets and aesthetics

• Develop and present outfit concepts tailored to each client's unique style profile

• Build and maintain detailed client profiles, tracking preferences, sizes, and style evolution

• Stay current on trends, emerging brands, and seasonal collections across all price points

• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients before, during, and after appointments

• Collaborate with the lead stylist on strategies for client development and retention

✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1–3 years of experience in personal styling, fashion retail, wardrobe consulting, or a closely related field

• A strong, developed eye for fit, proportion, color, and personal style across diverse body types

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — you make clients feel seen, heard, and excited

• High level of discretion and emotional intelligence to share your voice and point of view

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and appointments simultaneously

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach — you anticipate needs before they're voiced

• Proficiency with styling tools, Pinterest, shopping platforms, and basic client management systems

• Formal fashion education is not required, but must have the drive to learn
