Pattern Maker at Full-Package Manufacturing Company

We are looking for a creative Pattern Maker to join our team. The Pattern Maker is responsible for creating patterns for specific products that are in line with our client’s and company’s vision. You understand that the more you learn the better you can support which directly impacts your success. You have a solid understanding of the creative workflow of fast-paced design & animation projects. RESPONSIBILITIES \\- Lead Design Meetings with client and project manager to gather necessary specifics for creating patterns \\- Create first through production patterns for all ARI JOGIEL clients (including house brand) \\- Translate technical sketch, existing sample or drape into a garment by developing a pattern that takes into account fabric, silhouette, and overall fit \\- Drape, draft, and issue cuts \\- Work with sample makers to ensure proper garment construction and to ensure pre-production samples meet requirements \\- Lead Development fit sessions with live model to measure garments, provide technical advice, and document and implement changes \\- Perform all pattern corrections necessary as a result of fittings and/or requested changes \\- Collaborate with Project Management team to ensure desired results are achieved \\- Develop and maintain a library of patterns to use for reference \\- Develop fit standards to ensure consistency of fit for each product category \\- Collaborate with manufacturing team to solve any production issues that may arise with patterns \\- Create Tech Packs for styles and be able to account for trims within the garment \\- Foster open communication and team environment with all members involved in our Garment Solutions \\- Build constructive and effective relationships with clients \\- Calculate yields for fabrics and sendouts \\- Present ideas and direction that lead others to action \\- Work in fast paced environment and be able to work on several project simultaneously \\- Contribute to company’s expansion of clients, team and operations \\- This might not be a full list of your day-to-day.
