PATTERMAKER

Patternmaker wanted in a fast paced dress company who will work with design and production teams to execute silhouettes for a range of products. Will be able to maintain the companies' standards to ensure consistency in fit, construction standards and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive organized and detail oriented individual. Attend fittings to review style lines of garment with designers and make changes from first proto muslin Understand fit and identifying potential production, quality or cost issues, make appropriate recommendations while maintain design and fit Patternmaker will make all necessary pattern corrections to fit properly Prepare cutters must (reference tool that contain all garment pieces/components, trims and garment construction information to make garment) for cutter and sample maker Work with contractors on approval sample and all samples to be sent to customers Worked for media accounts which are measurement drive - Example:  HSN, QVC Ability to multitask and prioritize many projects at once Strong verbal and written verbal communication skills Must have computer experience Minimum 5 years of experience Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task, problem solve and effectively influence Very good understanding of the design process, apparel and image aesthetics Highly proficient in pattern making, sewing, garment construction and engineering Able to work in a fluid, fast-paced, multi-channel environment
