Part Time Stylist

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their style preferences and needs
Assist customers in selecting clothing and accessories that complement their personal style
Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and interest
Upsell additional items by highlighting product benefits and styling options to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain attractive visual merchandising and ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or in person, practicing proper phone etiquette

Requirements

Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in a grocery store or fashion retail environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers, including bilingual candidates
Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for supporting team initiatives
Familiarity with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management techniques
Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and stock counts
Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and upselling strategies
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base
