Part Time Stylist

Open and close the store according to established procedures, including arming/disarming the alarm system.Count and reconcile cash drawers and prepare bank deposits as needed.Serve as manager-on-duty in the absence of the Manager.Ensure the store is secured properly at close, including locking doors.Respond to and troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues when in charge of the store.Support other sales associates during assigned shifts.Maintain visual merchandising standards, including floor sets, window displays, and signage.Restock and replenish merchandise on the sales floor throughout each shift.Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom clean, organized, and on-brand.Assist with receiving, tagging, and processing new shipments.Participate in physical inventory counts as scheduled.Operations & Communication Previous retail or customer service experience preferred; keyholder experience a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with cash-handling and store security responsibilities.Comfortable using a POS system and basic technology.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Passion for fashion, styling, and delivering a great customer experience.Physical Requirements The Store Manager is responsible for the overall success of Monkee's of Virginia Beach, overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and leading a team of part time stylists.
