This position is best suited to someone seeking consistent, ongoing part-time employment rather than occasional or temporary work.

Position Schedule

This position is primarily intended to support our Saturday, Sunday, and Monday schedule:

Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
Weekdays AND Weekday Afternoons: Flexible

Saturday and Sunday shifts are shared and rotated among team members. Employees are not expected to work every Saturday and Sunday each week but must be available to participate consistently in the weekend rotation.

Occasional weekday afternoon shifts or additional hours may be offered based on availability, performance, seasonal needs, and the store schedule.

This position offers a flexible part-time schedule that may work well for candidates balancing ongoing education or seeking hands-on experience in fashion retail, marketing, merchandising, business, hospitality, or entrepreneurship.

About the Position

We are seeking an engaging, polished, and dependable Fashion Retail Sales Associate who enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in fashion, styling, customer service, and boutique operations.

This is an active, customer-facing position. The right candidate will be comfortable initiating conversations, assisting customers with confidence, learning our merchandise, and remaining productive throughout each shift.

Previous fashion or retail experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train a candidate who demonstrates maturity, initiative, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in learning.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet and engage every customer
Assist customers with merchandise selection, styling, sizing, and fit
Provide attentive and personalized customer service
Build customer relationships and help create a welcoming shopping experience
Learn the boutique’s brands, merchandise, styling approach, and selling techniques
Answer questions about products, fit, availability, and store merchandise
Maintain organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing sales areas
Replenish, size, fold, steam, and organize merchandise throughout the shift
Assist with receiving, tagging, processing, and displaying new inventory
Operate the point-of-sale system and other store technology
Support basic social media, product content, and promotional activities when needed
Maintain a clean, polished, and professional boutique environment
Communicate customer requests, concerns, and sales opportunities to management
Follow store procedures, safety standards, and operational expectations

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Warm, outgoing, and professional communication style
Reliable, punctual, responsive, and able to follow through
Comfortable initiating conversations and approaching customers
Interested in fashion, styling, merchandising, retail, marketing, hospitality, or business
Organized and attentive to detail
Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
Willing to learn brands, merchandise, styling, and personalized selling techniques
Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, mobile devices, and store technology
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, photography, or digital content is helpful
Retail, hospitality, campus involvement, customer-service, sales, or leadership experience is a plus
Reliable transportation to Atlantic Beach
Ability to participate consistently in the Saturday and Sunday rotation
Availability for Monday shifts is strongly preferred

Professional Presentation

Because this is a customer-facing fashion and styling position, team members are expected to maintain a polished, professional appearance and follow the boutique’s established dress and presentation standards.
