We are looking for a dynamic Part-Time Assistant Store Manager to help lead our community-focused, pop culture-inspired brand. In this role, you will assist the Store Manager in achieving sales goals, recruiting, and developing our fantastic team. If you're the perfect blend of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker, ready to tackle challenges while driving sales and building lasting relationships with customers, we want to hear from you!
Starting pay range: $15.55/hr - $17.90/hr. Please note that the final salary will depend on factors such as education, location, meeting job requirements, training, and experience.
What You'll Do
Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets—it's not just about the bottom line, but it definitely matters! Help recruit, develop, and maintain an enthusiastic, collaborative team to run the store alongside you. Act as the store's biggest advocate—drive customer engagement and excitement through promotional initiatives, social media, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Ensure the store operates smoothly—balance operations with customer-first selling practices. Monitor shrinkage and loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules vigilantly. Communicate trends and customer feedback effectively with retail leadership and HQ partners. Analyze sales reports and data to shape strategies for achieving sales goals. Merchandise the store in an engaging way, utilizing planograms and ensuring timely launch of promotions—help us deliver the goods! Team up with the Store Manager to cultivate a high-performing, customer-oriented team of associates. What You'll Need
1-2 years of retail management experience. If you have a passion for philanthropy and pop culture, you’re in the right spot! A proven track record of leading teams to success. You possess strong skills in communication, recruitment, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development. Exceptional skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and a commitment to your team's growth. Must be at least 18 years old to join our team. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. A degree is a plus. Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment. The usual retail responsibilities—able to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle boxes weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
