Part Time Assistant Manager

Full Job Description

Part time ASM are responsible for sales generation, effective customer service and engagement, shrinkage, cash wrap service, merchandise processing and merchandising, opening, closing and store operations. All activities must be in strict compliance with all Cato Corporation policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

Minimum age: 18 yrs oldOne- year minimum retail or cashiering experience(or solid references)Successful completion of the Cato Corporation Part Time ASM training program.Essential Physical Requirements:

Ability to process information/merchandise through the Register and ISP system.Ability to communicate with associates, customers and management. Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and cash wrap.Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run a store.Ability to lift and move or transfer merchandise through the store generally weighing up to 40 pounds.Ability to work varied hours/days as business indicates.
