join San Francisco’s 1st cruelty-free interior design store in business 17 years located in the heart of Hayes Valley minimal is San Franciscoʼs hippest interior design & gift store featuring home goods for modern living. we scout contemporary design from the leading design houses around the world to be clean-lined, clever & above all cruelty-free. as a specialty high-end design store we cater to a discerning & niche clientele REQUIREMENTS \\- must be able to work most weekends & evenings \\- strong online skills & computer experience \\- if not vegan then still able to proselytize for cruelty-free design \\- be exceptionally well suited for sales & customer service \\- you may not use your phone for personal use during work DUTIES • e-commerce store data entry • post on social media • build online community • run sales & marketing campaigns • pick, pack & ship + online customer care • ship & receive • replenish inventory & management • assist customers on the till & in the store • attend to customer’s individual needs • refresh displays • visual merchandising • open & close shop • general maintenance routines i.e. cleaning & organizing ABILITIES & QUALITIES the position has dual roles: \\- sales advisor at our physical storefront in Hayes Valley. you need to be able to see what needs to get done & then get the job done. you work alone so you need to be a self-starter it helps if you have a background or strong interest in web-, graphic-, industrial-, fashion design, veganism or architecture.
