The most qualified candidate will be a contract management software and tech-savvy in-house corporate career paralegal with at least 2-4 years of experience with ownership for contract process management including database (HighQ) administration and all post-contract administration matters, corporate governance matters and the coordination of documents and information needed for intellectual property filings, including trademark and copyright registrations and customs recordals. Key Responsibilities: Manage contract execution process as well as the contracts database (HighQ) and post-execution contract administration matters Develop command of HighQ and LegalTracker legal operations platform to optimize and simplify legal department operations including but not limited to: contract lifecycles, documents, managing services requests, matters, outside counsel Assist with corporate governance matters and filings Coordinate documents and information needed for intellectual property filings, including trademark and copyright registrations and customs recordals Communicate and coordinate with business partners regarding deadlines and renewals Conduct research and fact gathering Support drafting commercial agreements Contribute to anticounterfeiting initiatives, compliance and training initiatives Coordinate implementation of legal initiatives both inside the department and within the broader company Assist with processing and tracking of legal invoices (LegalTracker) Leverage executive presence and professional poise to engage directly with Senior Management to secure hard-copy signatures Provide general administrative support to attorneys and other duties as may be required or assigned Professional Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience 2 to 4 years of in-house corporate paralegal or law firm experience, required Expert technical skill proficiency using all Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel Technical skill proficiency using document management software, HighQ and Legal Tracker preferred, or equivalent Confident, capable, highly effective written/verbal communication, teaming and interpersonal skills Unshakeable organizational skills with excellent judgment, common sensibility and attention keen to detail Critical, analytical thinking and solution-focused problem-solving capability Impeccable integrity and ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly and professionally Proven ability to build relationships of trust with legal team and business partners Demonstrated ability to balance long term projects with short term daily needs to deliver the right results at the right time Experience handling multiple tasks, assisting multiple attorneys, and completing competing tasks in a fast-paced environment Educational Background Paralegal Certificate, preferred College degree, preferred or equivalent work experience, required Now called the G-III Apparel Group, we are a leading manufacturer and distributor of apparel and accessories under licensed brands, owned brands and private label brands.
