Packaging & Trim Developer

Boll & Branch is seeking an experienced Packaging & Trim Developer from the home textiles industry to lead all product packaging. Specific Responsibilities: Independently manage the implementation of packaging and labeling on all Boll & Branch products Create specs for various packaging needs on product - this includes labels, paper collateral, trims (zippers, buttons, ribbons), finished folded dimensions Independently manage the process to create new packaging; This includes coordinating: packaging design, packaging artwork/mechanicals, revisions, approvals, and sampling through to ensure all items are completed prior to our production handoff Create artwork for packaging items with correct content needed Partner with product developers for fiber content, COO, URN and wash care information Determine what information and labels are needed in regards to each product category (filled goods, translations, legal requirements, font sizing and required wording) Ensure all product labels and packaging are compliant with government requirements Work with our packaging vendors, locally and overseas to create our packaging items including sampling, costing, minimums, quality, and approvals; Ensure feasibility and production friendly optimization Oversee quality assurance of all packaging related items QA all packaging files and samples prior to sharing with internal and external teams Create and maintain a packaging/trims library both digitally and physically Test, analyze, and select materials for packaging based on timelines, durability, Oeko-Tex/GOTS approved materials and cost effectiveness Humanism is at the core of our philosophy for sounder sleep, and we’re immensely proud of the impact we’ve made in our nearly seven years in business.
