Specific Responsibilities Assist our customers & DC’s in scheduling prepaid outbound shipments specific to end customer requirements Ability to determine between parcel, LTL, consolidated freight & FTL shipments and work with designated carrier in setting up the correct shipment method Knowledge of ship window, and MABD’s to correctly identify specific ship methods needed Requesting quotes based upon customer request Scheduling pickup & delivery appointments with shippers/consignees Tracking & Tracking shipments on various carrier websites Requesting extensions when PO’s are past cancel or ability to determine when an extension is needed prior to shipping Updating & Maintaining a current In-Transit Report for all prepaid outbound shipments Knowledge of big box retailers routing requirements and preferred carriers Skills and Requirements The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Experience working with systems such as SAP and Trinium.
