Organic Salon looking for LICENCED ASSISTANT

Hair Salon Assistant’s responsibilities include supporting our stylists by setting up their workspaces, keeping the salon and stations immaculate, assisting clients when needed, checking clients out when needed, and working as a team to help the salon run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. (you should review the schedule to see who is coming in for that day) Prepare the client for their service Ensure that they have everything they need: Water, chargers etc Assisting Stylist: You must maintain good communication with your stylist. If you need to leave them for a period of time, let them know and ensure they know when you will be back Know the stylist's daily schedule and make them aware of any changes Make sure all equipment is prepared and sanitized if necessary for the client before they arrive (ie. Shampoo their clients efficiently (be very aware of timing,speed, and being thorough) Set and/or diffuse their clients correctly, quickly, and thoroughly when needed At all times, make sure stylist has everything they need and are not looking for help * * The Salon: KEEP EVERYTHING CLEAN at your stations Setting and maintaining the relaxing, professional, and luxurious vibe of the salon. * * Skills Work experience as a Hair Salon Assistant or similar role in the beauty industry Experience in customer service is a plus Up-to-date with hair and fashion trends (e.g. colors and styles) especially curly, wavy and textured hair Solid organizational skills Familiarity with social media Certification in Cosmetology Ability to work as part of a team Ability to commit to a project and be on time every day * MUST BE LICENCED for this position.
