*Knowledge and experience in eyewear sales, all styles of lenses and coatings, frame fitting, adjusting, and familiarity with Optical Rx prescriptions. * Provide consumers with eyeglasses and lenses by filling optical prescriptions; * Evaluating and determining a client's needs and possible options in their current prescription and ability to use and read a lensometer and pupilometer. Ability to sell eyewear, lenses, and both plano and prescription Sunglasses to customers. Honesty and a Quality Focus, Use of past experience in Sales and Medical Technologies, Thoroughness, Selling to Customer Needs, Customer Service, Attention to Detail, Listening, Job Knowledge, Presenting Technical Information as necessary, Integrity, Analyzing Information, Product Knowledge and Familiarity. There is always new knowledge and new skills that will be learned, but the individual must already posses experience in the optical industry as related to the above.
