Operations Manager - Ecommerce Operations

The company is currently in the midst of a dramatic expansion, driven by significant enhancements to its platforms and offerings, with the goal of becoming the preeminent destination for luxury internationally.Job Responsibilities:The primary responsibility of the Operations Manager is to provide leadership and direction to our fulfillment operations as well as other areas as needed. This position is responsible for the safety, customer experience, productivity, efficiency, and accuracy of these areas of the operation.Provide leadership to a team of Leads and associates. Including but not limited to building out department specific bottoms up plans, managing KPI deck, employee and leadership engagement plans, setting goals and expectations for team members.Make recommendations and assist in formulation of departmental objectives, policies, and plans.Manage daily and weekly labor planning solver to ensure resource allocations and assumptions allow for specific deliverables to be met including DEA, quality and cost.Plan, examine, analyze and evaluate fulfillment center operations with respect to productivity standards, safety, and customer support.Evaluate current procedures, determining opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing updated processes driving improvements in safety, customer experience, quality, volume planning, and variable cost per unit.Leverage Lean Six Sigma principles to identify and resolve operational problems, ensuring company standards are met and/or exceeded.Responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of training programs for associates to include improving communication between departments and associate development of supervisory skills, interpersonal skills, and technical skills.Mentor and develop manager and lead talent to build bench strength.Job RequirementsBA /BS degree in a business-related field required, preferably in Supply Chain Management.3-5 years of experience in fulfillment center operations with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity.Lean Six Sigma or Green Belt Certification a plus.Proficient with using MS Office/Google GSuite applications to process and present data.Knowledge of WMS systems, RF technology, and Quality measurements & processes.Knowledge of both manual and automated order fulfillment systems, e.g. tilt tray sortation, ASRS, pick-to-light, pack-to-light, carrousel, A-Frame, etc.Effectively interact in a team environment with senior leadership, peer group, and relate to and motivate an hourly and salaried associate team.Flexibility in working different shift schedules to include weekends.Demonstrated effective communication skills with all levels within the organization including employees, direct reports, cross-functional teams and executive leadership.Your Life and Career at Saks:Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunitiesA culture that promotes a healthy, fulfilling work/life balanceBenefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, vision and dental).An amazing employee discountThank you for your interest with Saks.
