OPERATIONS MANAGER

Daily duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following activities. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Oversee all Operations activities within the distribution center Assist and support the Director and VP of Distribution Efficiently maintain the daily receiving, order processing, and shipping activities, as well as working down any order backlogs Work with and manage departmental supervisors to manage daily operations (Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, etc. ), inventory control and assure optimal productivity Training supervisors on new and alternative methods of efficiency Manage employee productivity, quality assurance and work safety programs Serve as liaison between Management and employees Work with IT and Maintenance to solve any technical or mechanical problems that may arise Manage manpower needs to ensure proper staffing in all departments and scheduling temporary support when needed Engages and motivates team members, ensuring proper training and coaching Open and close the building as needed
