OPERATIONS MANAGER

GV - Fashion Distribution Services Operations Manager, Distribution Location: Avenel, NJ Who You Are: As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing distribution center operations in North America. What You’ll Do: Oversee operations for the North America distribution centers to support an omnichannel sales distribution model (Versace US Retail & Outlet Shops, EDI/Specialty Wholesale Accounts & E-Commerce) Support Versace’s primary distribution center to facilitate and implement best-in-class practices Work closely with the 3PL to manage and prioritize the inbound, outbound, and return flow to ensure company and vendor standards are met Liaise with the Versace Logistics and E-commerce Department to organize and optimize warehouse daily workflow and personnel allocation with the 3PL management team Optimize operational and individual KPI’s to monitor performances, proactively address early warnings and plan personnel needs and warehouse workload Communicate to the business partners when operational or systemic issues arise within the distribution center Analyze, mitigate, and resolve EDI partner chargebacks for violations stemming from the 3PL and report findings & resolution Support the 3PL and logistics team in conducting annual physical inventory (maintain and execute internal audit/SOX controls) You’ll Need to Have: 5+ years of experience within a logistics/distribution function (preferably in fashion or luxury goods) Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field The ability to adapt appropriately to competing demands and shifting priorities Excellent analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office applications) Stealth 3000 knowledge is a plus Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems Strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment At Capri, we are all responsible for creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
