Facilitate the maximization of resources in the distribution center to achieve desired goals in shipping and receiving, employee development, productivity, and overall cost per unit (CPU) Manage all aspects of the distribution center to include receiving, stocking, order processing, and shipping Identify workload of all areas and shift resources to areas where additional personnel are needed Analyze operation headcounts to determine proper FTE, temporary, and part-time associates needs Provide leadership for employees through effective communications, coaching, training, and development Confer with managers outside the distribution center to ensure coordination of other functions such as allocation, traffic, quality assurance, and customer compliance Participate in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process as appropriate Communicates any issues daily with Vice President of Distribution Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Technical skills in warehouse management systems, production planning and inventory management. Computer proficient Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Bachelors degree or equivalent experience approximately 5+ years of management experience Experience with warehouse management systems is required Ability to travel as needed
