OPERATIONS ANALYST

Job Description Carter's, Inc. is the largest branded marketer in North America of apparel exclusively for babies and young children. These brands are sold in leading department stores, national chains, and specialty retailers domestically and internationally. Oversee every step in the process including WIP delays,WIP shortages, quality issues, transportation delays, demand changes, system issues, order fulfillment, etc andbe involved in daily decision making to maximize profitable sales while controlling inventory− Procurement: Placing Buys to Sourcing and oversee the accuracy of the Purchase Orders. Determine the business impact of any delivery issues, prioritize andcommunicate any issues relative to product flow− Internal Liaison: Act as the point person between the Sales, Sourcing, Transportation, Order Management,Forecasting, and other teams to ensure any issues related to on-time delivery are handled and properlycommunicated− External Communication: Communicate daily with external accounts/partners in regard to supply and orderfulfillment− Demand Orders: continuous monitoring of the Demand orders and adjusting Supply as needed toaccommodate. Actively manage flow of information and own daily decisionsneeded for order management for assigned accounts, including serving as primary resource fordistribution network decisions needed to enable timely order shipment− Other Important Items: Monitor open-to-buy and inventory plans for respective business units, provide MAMupdates for the forecast, create documentation and standardize processes, create and maintain any exportdocumentation/ requirements as neededSUPERVISORY / BUDGETARY / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY− This role typically reports into a Manager or Senior Manager, Operations− Position communicates with both internal and external customers, including Leadership, regarding CustomerPurchase Orders and Inventory Management and availabilitySECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE - ANY DUTIES NOT CONSIDERED ESSENTIAL)− Process and supply chain capability enhancement
