Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract shoppers and highlight promotional items
Restock shelves and ensure the sales floor is clean, safe, and inviting by stocking merchandise efficiently
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and demonstrating strong phone etiquette when assisting remotely or over the phone
Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and participating in periodic stocktaking activities

Experience

Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding new team members or managing small teams during shifts
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math ensures smooth transactions
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Strong communication skills are necessary to engage confidently with customers and team members
Experience with grocery store operations or familiarity with merchandising, stocking, and product demos will be advantageous
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced environments
