MP&A SYSTEMS ANALYST

The primary responsibility of the Systems Analyst is to support Assortment and Merchandise planning systems in a techno-functional capacity. Additional responsibilities would include creation of standard operating procedures, business process definition, data analysis and reporting. Responsibilities: Key Accountabilities: Support APT (an AWS cloud-SaaS based custom Assortment Planning system) in a techno-functional capacity. This includes business requirements gathering, assist with design and documentation, interface design and development, testing and end user support with UAT and go-live Manage integration of APT with other enterprise systems like PLM, SAP, JDA Enterprise Planning, JDA Demand and Fulfillment, Pricing systems, datawarehouse Work closely with business process team to Identify gaps in current system process and/or opportunities to streamline or automate processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall business performance Work with IT vendor and business process team to document job aids and training guides, as needed Education and Experience: Undergraduate Degree, Master’s Degree a plus Must have more than 5 years of Retail IT and Business Process experience with working in Assortment and Merchandise Planning systems. Knowledge of other retail systems like JDA Enterprise Planning, JDA Demand and Fulfillment, PLM, SAP is a plus Have background working in a techno-functional capacity on cloud based applications, databases, querying language like SQL, interface design & mapping and reporting systems Must have a thorough understanding of a Retail Product Lifecycle and the intersection points between Planning, Allocating, Buying, Merchandising, Production and Finance Skills and Behaviors: Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical and functional teams Working knowledge of software development lifecycle Changes course easily – Knows when to be patient and when to push – Works well in the gray – Shows grace under pressure – Owns mistakes and learns from them – Balances multiple priorities Takes initiative, doesn’t wait for direction – Builds for the future – Takes personal ownership and accountability – Is resourceful in getting things done Is self-aware and open-minded – Integrates the perspectives of others – Is direct but respectful – Communicates cross functionally – Knows when to get people involved and when to make a decision – Takes an inclusive approach Creates a transformational client experience – Makes decisions in the best interest of the company and our customers – Focuses on internal and external customers Has the skills necessary to perform the job – Keeps current on trends, skills, and practices – Puts learning into practice
