Modest Couture / Avant-Garde Fashion Seamstress & Garment Constructor (NDA Required)

Job Description: Beaux Couture is seeking a highly skilled Modest Couture Seamstress / Garment Constructor with experience in avant-garde silhouettes, sculptural volume, and high-end finishing techniques. A signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required before any sketches, patterns, or intellectual property are shared. --- Responsibilities: Construct couture-level garments from sketches, draping references, or detailed instructions Create patterns, muslins, and final garments with an emphasis on: Modest silhouettes (high necklines, long sleeves, floor length) Avant-garde construction (sculptural ruffles, dimensional organza work, structured sleeves) High-fashion editorial proportions Work with sustainable and natural fabrics preferred by the brand Collaborate closely on fit, structure, and finishing Maintain the confidentiality of all designs, sketches, patterns, and creative concepts (NDA is mandatory) Provide fabric recommendations, sourcing assistance, or alternative solutions when needed Sew by hand and machine with impeccable attention to detail --- Requirements: Experience in haute couture, eveningwear, luxury modestwear, or avant-garde design Strong ability in: Pattern-making (flat and draping) Sculptural fabric manipulation Ruffle and volume techniques Working with organza, tulle, silk, and textured natural fibers Ability to construct garments with modest fit requirements Excellent craftsmanship and finishing Ability to follow design references precisely Strong respect for confidentiality — must sign NDA prior to starting Reliable communication and professionalism Ability to work remotely or in-studio (depending on location) --- Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with conceptual runway garments Experience constructing abayas, kaftans, couture dresses, or editorial pieces Ability to work with experimental silhouettes Portfolio showcasing technical and couture sewing skills --- Compensation: Compensation based on experience and per-garment or hourly agreements.
