Modern, custom hat company in Greenpoint, BK is looking for a part-time milliner/hat finisher/stitcher to help 1-2 times per week in our hat studio in fulfilling custom orders. Basic responsibilities would include: \\- Finishing pre-blocked hat bodies with sweatband, trim ribbon, hat liner, and brim cutting \\- Steaming and brushing finished hat bodies \\- Quality control to ensure finished units are ready for sale based on order details You must be: \\- Extremely detail-oriented and meticulous \\- Expert with hand and machine sewing \\- Comfortability working with wool and straw \\- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality \\- Available at least once per week for 3-6 hours, depending on the schedule (we can be flexible on exact timing) If you think you are a possible candidate, please send your resume and your hourly rate.
