Participate in the development of annual Financial Plans, merchandise assortments, sales-to-stock plans, and marketingstrategies in conjunction with Buyers to support yearly planned company objectives Accountable for the team’s performance and responsible for overseeing all team activities including workflow, productivity,and performance Plan and revise strategies for merchandise flow, based on shipping dates, seasonal/fiscal calendars, and open-to-buyparameters Support the conceptual develop of future lines by generating style recaps, account/regional summaries, trend analyses, andcompetitive market research reports Partner with Trend team to devise seasonal concepts and identify exploitable/emerging trends Participate in weekly open-to-buy meetings with Planning & Allocation to ensure the achievement of financial targets,including turn and sell-through goals Review weekly sales performance to identify potential re-order opportunities and recommend styles that requiremarkdowns Assist Buyers in selecting and analyzing Seasonal Buys to ensure an appropriate product mix for each market and each store Qualifications Must have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Fashion, preferably Fashion Merchandising Must have 10+ years of merchandising experience with a successful track record of high volume business growth and bottom line results Must possess the ability to understand and act upon financial retail indicators such as sales, gross margin, inventoryproductivity, sell-through and turn Must have high fashion intelligence and a broad-based business acumen Acute fashion sense with proven ability to envision and interpret fashion trends Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have a strong desire to work in the fashion industry and demonstrate an ability to identify and foresee fashion trends Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis The salary range for this position is $114,104 - $140,693 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.In addition to your salary, Forever 21, and its affiliated brands, offers a benefits package, including 401(k) plan, overtime pay, flexible work schedule and a generous employee discount program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
