About the role
The Merchandising Buying Intern role provides skills and industry knowledge for those pursuing a career in retail or fashion. You will work directly with the Merchandising team to support daily operations and contribute to the buying process.
What you'll do
Assist the team with daily business operations.
Collect and organize samples for meetings.
Help with reporting and purchase orders.
Stay informed on current trends.
Communicate with the vendor community.
Participate in the fit selection process.
What you'll need
Current status as a junior, senior, or recent graduate.
Pursuing a degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
Strong academic record.
Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
A strong fashion sense and interest in products.
Ability to work at least 20-25 hours per week with open availability.
Self-motivated and positive approach to work.

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee.
Term: Winter 2027.
Modality: On-site.
