SMCP USA Inc. (Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot) seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic, detail-oriented intern to support our Buying Department. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing French retail group in the affordable luxury sector. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Generate weekly retail sales reports: style selling, category recap, and bestsellers Engage and collaborate with cross functional departments (Ecommerce, Marketing, PR, Operation, Logistics, Finance, as well as external partners) Provide administrative and other ad hoc support as needed Partners Management: Sample Trafficking & Management, create seasonal Collection Buy Recaps Assisting with generating weekly sales and financial reports Help maintain and keep up to date internal commercial calendar Process purchase orders, resolve invoicing issues and ensure timely merchandise delivery Utilize programs such as Qlikview, Storeland, and Scortex to execute promotions and stock maintenance
