About the job Reporting to: President, Footwear Brand/Product Focus: DKNY & Karl Lagerfeld | Footwear Location (On-Site): New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District Key Accountabilities: Weekly: Analyze and distribute all Fashion selling reports to Sales, Design and Production Maintain sample catalogue and best sellers presentation; consistently maintain Replenishment assortment presentation Communicate all line changes via memo to Sales, Design, Tech and Production Monthly: Recap selling for each of the fashion groups after they have been active for 12 weeks Review selling and line plans with Design for future development Yearly: Maintain Yearly Recap of all Fashion Purchases for Division President and Sales Pre-Market: Work with Division President and VP Sales to review assortments vs line plan draft Photograph grid presentations for distribution to Sales Create Style numbers & product attributes PLM to publish the Linelist in PLM & ACS/AS400 Work with Design and Production to confirm all fabrics and pricing Prepare showroom for sales to work Market: Collect and update booking data to create and maintain fashion buys Share the buy information with Design, Tech and Production Maintain Style Change Log and samples throughout Market and distribute to/inform Sales, Production and Design Participate in line review meetings to review product with Sales, Design, Tech, and Production Post Market: Publish line sheets for each fashion delivery to recap Style Bookings and Sales Perf Maintain the sample closets- track samples sent to accounts, photo shoots or other divisions Education and Experience: 5+ years experience as a Merchandiser Footwear experience, a must Bachelors degree in related field Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred College degree, or equivalent professional work experience, required Skills and Behaviors: Advanced MS Excel skills: data manipulation, pivot tables, v-lookup Experience using AS400, an asset; open to learn and use the AS400 system, required Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with critical attention to detail Confident, engaging verbal and written communication skills Motivated to work in a high energy environment at the speed of fashion with ever-changing priorities Ability to work independently and work to meet multiple deadlines Ability to build and maintain relationships with other departments as well as vendors and other overseas offices About G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. | www.g-iii.com G-III excels at bringing excitement and confidence to customers through the fashion we create.
