Our client, an established contemporary fashion brand specializing in RTW! The Merchandise Assistant will be working closely with the Merchandising and Buying teams to set up new product options, create and monitor purchase orders, assist with the creation and distribution of weekly sales reports and more. This Merchandise Assistant role requires communication with all cross functional teams and external partners. Understanding the market including competitive shopping and customer identification Manage daily and weekly sales reports through Excel Create and monitor purchase orders Maintain markdowns, markups and promotions Ability to communicate cross functionally with merchandising teams including shipping, tracking, and garment details Monitor relevant trends on the market to support the increase of sales Sample management- track, update and schedule all incoming and outgoing samples Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
