Merchandise Assistant

Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the Planning team to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Create and maintain product lists and spreadsheets to track merchandise orders and deliveries.
Collaborate with Visual Merchandising team to ensure merchandise is displayed in an attractive and organized manner.
Conduct regular store walks to ensure merchandise is properly stocked and priced.
Assist in creating and updating product descriptions and pricing information.
Help organize and execute store events and promotions.
Contribute to the development of seasonal product assortments.
Provide administrative support to the Merchandising team, including scheduling meetings, taking notes, and preparing reports.
Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Continuously seek out opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency.
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
Uphold company values and represent the brand with enthusiasm and passion.
Embrace and adapt to changes in the retail industry and take on new responsibilities as needed.
