O’Connell’s Clothing, a Buffalo clothing tradition since 1959, is seeking a full-time Sales & Inventory Associate to join our growing in-store and online business. This is a hands-on retail position involving customer service, sales, inventory management, and order fulfillment. We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, well presented, and interested in developing a strong knowledge of traditional men’s clothing. Responsibilities - Assist customers with clothing selections, fit, and purchases. - Learn our clothing, footwear, makers, fabrics, and sizing. - Develop lasting relationships with customers and provide attentive, personal service. - Process sales, returns, exchanges, and special orders. - Receive, check, price, organize, and stock incoming merchandise. - Maintain accurate inventory and help locate merchandise throughout the store. - Pick, pack, and prepare online orders for shipment. - Keep the sales floor, stock areas, and displays organized. - Assist with the physical and day-to-day work required to keep a busy retail and online operation running smoothly. Qualifications - Professional appearance and clear communication. - Comfortable working with customers and making sales. - Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. - Reliable and comfortable handling several responsibilities throughout the day. - Willingness to learn traditional men’s clothing and become knowledgeable about our merchandise. - Comfortable with the physical work involved in receiving, stocking, and shipping merchandise. - *Retail or sales experience is preferred but not required.* Compensation includes a base wage plus sales commission.
