Men's Denim and Sportswear Designer

BJD Inc. seeks a Los Angeles based Men’s Denim and Men’s Sportswear Designer. Primary responsibilities will be centered around (but not limited to) Denim, Wovens Tops, and Knit Tops. The ideal candidate should be able to closely work with our Merchandiser and Sales team from idea conception, sampling, and buying. He/She must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, recognize the needs each buyer brings to the table, and have a deep understanding of trends in the appropriate markets. · A strong understanding of Denim Construction, Wash Techniques, Knit/Woven Construction, Development Leadtime, and Seasonal Products.
