About the position Responsibilities • Assist in daily operations of the store • Work in various areas including merchandise presentation, processing, markdowns, cashier, customer service, dressing room, and layaway • Greet, interact with, and thank customers regularly • Establish and execute merchandising plans and priorities • Train store associates on proper merchandising procedures and markdowns • Lead by example in providing prompt and courteous customer service • Ensure fresh flow of merchandise from backroom to sales floor • Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to all customers • Resolve customer service issues appropriately and competently • Train and develop store associates on customer service standards and register procedures • Process merchandise for the backroom of the store • Ensure backroom area is organized and ready to receive and flow goods • Oversee administrative, clerical, and office activities Requirements • Experience in customer service • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends • Strong communication skills • Ability to train and develop others Nice-to-haves • Previous retail experience • Leadership skills • Organizational skills Benefits • Employee discount
