Responsibilities: Execute a business development and commercial strategy for the Acoustics and Glass Reinforcement and fuel cell market segments, meeting or exceeding annual sales and gross profit targets Identify potential customers and revenue opportunities, negotiate profitable business relationships Development a market network for the emerging fuel cell and electrolysis market incl. to relevant universities and national labs for our components Support and provide technical support related to our customers their application and optimization of our products in close cooperation with our local application engineering and product development Manage customer complaints in line with company processes Support and consult customers by regular visits and phone calls with the aim to support existing sales and develop new opportunities Monitor credit worthiness of customers in cooperation with our accounting group Develop responsibility for credit terms and on-time payments Participate in our product import management in cooperation with our Logistics group in NC Qualifications: BS in a Technical Discipline (Engineering or related Technical Degree), Graduate degree preferred, and two or more years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Application Engineering and/or Business Development are helpful High sensitivity to delivering sales plans and implementing sales excellence programs High level of flexibility, reactivity and trouble-shooting skills Customer-driven mentality, self-starter with a good technical experience and excellent customer relationship skills Understanding of value chain management i.e., identifying value driven opportunities, evaluating their potential and implementing them via new product and/or service initiative launches People and project management skills with expectation to hit business objectives Strong follow-up and attention to detail in a fast-paced operations environment are required The successful candidate must also demonstrate the Company’s Guiding Principles: Values for Customers, Innovation, Leadership, People and Responsibility, foster Six Sigma and Learning initiatives, and create an environment of teamwork Ability to travel in North America (minimum of 30% of the time) Strong computer skills: emails, internet, Microsoft Office and Teams software All Candidates must be able to provide work related references.
