The Art of Makeup School prepares students to work as professional makeup artists for working in the fields of beauty, fashion, film, stage and special fx. We are a boutique specialized trade school with a team of caring and supportive instructors and administrators. We are looking for someone who can create engaging social media content and has strong writing skills. This is a company growth opportunity that will offer more hours, responsibility and pay with business growth. The ideal candidate must be: Organized Detail Oriented A Multi-tasker Able to act without guidance and independently An excellent writer Excellent at communication Work and Education Experience: Educated in marketing or 1 year marketing and social media experience Business growth and development Customer Service Experience or training in photography, videography and editing tools for both Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Drive & Photos), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Dropbox, Wordpress, Zoho (CRM) Duties Include: Scheduling and conducting student tours Answering phone and replying to email inquiries Communication with students and overseeing student needs Website updates Writing blogs Graphic design and copywriting Taking, editing and uploading pictures & videos for social media content and student distribution Social Media posts on IG, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, & YouTube and possibly building more platforms Updating and Printing Student Manuals Entering student grades, attendance and data sheets Growth opportunities, ideas and implementation Inventory and supply orders Preparing student makeup kits General school maintenance Hours: Starting at 15 hours per week, then more hours can be added as needed.
