MARKET RESEARCH SPECIALIST

Primary Market Research Analyst To assist the Senior Manager, Market Intelligence, with designated primary market research projects. This will involve working with internal stakeholders and outside agencies in the performance of typical primary market research projects such as surveys and focus groups. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work with key stakeholders and Senior Manager to determine their market research needs and requirements Develop and provide the Senior Manager with project Request for Proposals (RFP) Administer the agency RFP process – this includes agency submission evaluation and recommendation Support the project approval process by obtaining sign-off of key stakeholders Support research fielding (target audience/respondent selection, questionnaire/discussion guide development, survey programming, QA testing, quota management, etc.) Analyze research data (clean-up, organizing/analyzing data, and interpreting the results for insights) Develop PowerPoint presentations to present research insights to stakeholders that utilize charts, graphs, and other visual means to help them make ?better-informed decisions Assist with managing the market research budget and processing project purchase orders and invoices Required Skills & Experiences A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in the Primary Market Research field Strong analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop insights from data High level of intellectual curiosity and what we need to learn from research Proficient project management skills to manage complex projects amongst multiple demands and competing priorities at the same time when working with internal constituents and outside agency partners At least 3 years of questionnaire/discussion guide development experience Proficiency with statistical software to analyze data, as well as creating easy to understand data presentations Above-average proficiency working with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, Momentive, and Alchemer Must be effective working with a wide variety of stakeholders and vendors – this includes being comfortable speaking in front of strangers and presenting results to internal team Proven ability to work autonomously and finding solutions to reasonable obstacles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Detail oriented, emphasizing accuracy.
