Manager, Brand Experience & Culture

Fashion Nova is sourcing for a Manager, Brand Experience & Culture to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to work with People & Culture leadership as a strategic communications partner to craft a strategy and messaging that helps people feel connected to our mission, the work and each other. You are passionate about Fashion Nova’s mission to build community, and just as passionate about the people we serve. • Partner closely with People & Culture leadership to understand how programs and initiatives impact our people • Design communications strategies that consider both proactive and reactive tactics • Align with Leadership on communication goals, channel strategy, and messaging • Partner with the Creative Services team to develop complementary visuals and videos for internal and external use, when appropriate • Execute against communications plan that you create with visual communications, where applicable • Candidate will participate and take ownership within other cross-functional event team initiatives • This role will oversee events across different locations – there will be some travel required • Plan, execute and provide comprehensive support for large company-wide employee events, celebrations, executive leadership meetings and other initiatives aimed at fostering community and connection across teams at our headquarters, retail and our distribution center • Collaborate closely with People & Culture leadership to align objectives, incorporate stakeholder input and ensure the successful execution of events where they have ownership • Engage with business owners and internal stakeholders to thoroughly understand event requirements and preferences and integrate them into the planning and execution process effectively • Take ownership of event logistics, including site selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional event experiences • Coordinate event communications and promotions in collaboration with the People & Culture, effectively engaging and informing team members about upcoming events • Provide on-site support during events, overseeing setup, registration, technical requirements and logistics to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants • Evaluate the success of events and collect feedback from attendees, stakeholders and participants to drive continuous improvement and enhance future events • Six plus years of work experience in internal communications • Five years of experience in event planning and execution, preferably in employee engagement or related fields • Experience building communication plans as well as executing against them • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously • Experience building cross-functional relationships • Experience in a consultative role working with a variety of stakeholders • Experience supporting People & Culture communications, including DEIAB • Experience in change management • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build positive relationships • Detail-oriented mindset with a keen focus on delivering high-quality events that meet or exceed expectations • Bachelor's degree in operations, business, management, marketing or a related field • English, additional language(s) an advantage.
