Christina Karin Inc. is looking for an exceptional Luxury Fashion Sales & Creative Brand Manager to join our Chicago flagship/store and grow with the brand's global presence.

This is a highly multidimensional role for someone who combines luxury fashion sales, styling, strong Adobe/Photoshop and graphic design skills, fashion knowledge, and creative brand-building ability.

This is not a traditional retail position.

We are looking for someone who can confidently style and sell to a client, then use quieter periods in the store to create marketing materials, edit photography, develop social content, work on creative campaigns, assist with photoshoots, and contribute to the growth of the Christina Karin brand.

The right person is energetic, highly creative, technically capable, detail-oriented, exceptional with people, and able to work independently without constant direction.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Sales, Styling & ClientelingSales is an important part of this position.

You will:

Drive in-store sales and work toward sales goals.Create an elevated, personal experience for every client.Style clients and help them build complete looks.Confidently engage customers and close sales.Develop relationships with new and existing Christina Karin clients.Proactively follow up with clients about new arrivals, events, styling ideas, and pieces selected specifically for them.Build repeat business through thoughtful clienteling.Develop deep knowledge of Christina Karin collections, fabrics, fit, construction, and design.Maintain a beautiful, organized, and elevated store environment.Participate in sales events/fashion events etc.Assist with merchandising and product presentation.We want someone who genuinely enjoys selling fashion and connecting with people.

ADOBE, PHOTOSHOP & GRAPHIC DESIGN

Strong technical computer and creative skills are a core requirement of this position.

Adobe Photoshop proficiency is required.

You should be comfortable independently creating polished visual work rather than needing extensive technical direction.

Projects may include:

Editing, retouching, resizing, and preparing photography in Adobe Photoshop.Creating graphics for social media, email, events, promotions, and product launches.Designing and editing marketing materials.Creating layouts using typography, photography, and graphics.Preparing digital assets in the correct dimensions, formats, and resolutions.Creating invitations, promotional pieces, line sheets, lookbooks, and other brand materials.Working in Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite programs.Organizing photography, graphics, and digital assets with excellent attention to detail.Editing short-form fashion and styling video content.Preparing assets for Instagram, Reels, Stories, email marketing, and e-commerce.Translating creative direction into finished visual work.We are looking for someone who can take an idea and execute it.

CREATIVE, CONTENT & BRAND DEVELOPMENT

When the store is not busy with clients, you will shift into creative and brand-building projects.

You may:

Develop ideas for marketing campaigns.Create social media and content concepts.Style and help produce fashion videos and photography.Assist with photoshoots from concept through execution.Create mood boards and visual references.Develop creative assets for collection launches.Help create email marketing campaigns.Research fashion, photography, design, cultural, and social trends.Develop ideas for events, collaborations, and partnerships.Brainstorm ways to increase awareness and drive traffic to the Chicago store.Support e-commerce imagery and product presentation.Develop storytelling around new collections.Identify opportunities and creative projects without always waiting to be asked.We want someone who sees downtime as an opportunity to create, improve, organize, and grow the business.

FASHION & DESIGN KNOWLEDGE

A strong understanding of fashion is important.

A background in fashion design, apparel design, styling, or luxury fashion is highly desirable.

Depending on experience, you may also assist with:

Fashion design and collection development. Tech packs, flats, etc.Garment and fit-related projects.Fittings.Styling and merchandising.Sample and collection organization.Fashion research and inspiration.Photoshoot preparation.Design-related graphics and creative projects.Special projects working directly with the designer.Knowledge of garment construction, fit, proportion, fabrication, and luxury fashion is a major plus.

WHO YOU ARE

You are someone who can sell a jacket at 1 PM and be working in Photoshop on a campaign at 3 PM.

You are:

High-energy, but no drama, warm, confident, and exceptional with people.A natural salesperson who genuinely enjoys selling.Passionate and knowledgeable about fashion.Visually sophisticated with strong taste.Highly proficient with computers and digital creative tools.Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.Comfortable with graphic design, photography editing, and layout.Creative and constantly bringing new ideas to the table.Extremely detail-oriented and organized.Technically resourceful.Independent and self-motivated.Comfortable working alone.Able to prioritize and manage multiple types of projects.Someone who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative.Excited by the entrepreneurial environment of an independent fashion brand.

REQUIRED

Strong interpersonal and sales ability.Strong fashion and styling knowledge.Adobe Photoshop proficiency.Strong overall computer proficiency.Graphic design and layout skills.Experience editing and preparing digital imagery.Ability to produce polished visual assets.Strong organizational and file-management skills.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to work independently and take initiative.

STRONGLY PREFERRED

Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign.Fashion design or apparel design training.Luxury fashion sales experience.Styling experience.Knowledge of garment construction and fit.Photography experience.Short-form video editing.Social media content creation.Email marketing/design experience.E-commerce knowledge/ content experience.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

Christina Karin is an independent luxury womenswear brand, which means this role offers the opportunity to participate in many different areas of building a fashion company.

You may spend part of your day selling and styling clients and another part creating marketing assets, editing photography, helping with a shoot, developing social content, or assisting with a design-related project.

We are looking for someone who finds that variety exciting.

You will work closely with the designer and have exposure to sales, styling, clients, fashion design, marketing, photography, graphic design, content, and brand development.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATIONPart-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week to start.

$25–$30/hour, based on experience and skill level, plus sales performance bonus.

This position is intended to begin part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role with increased responsibility for the right person.
