As a Sr. Technical Designer at Lulus, you will work closely with our production team ensuring the fit and quality of the Lulus brand. What You'll Need • 8+ years of experience in the technical design field with a thorough understanding of the apparel design and development process from inception through production • Degree in Apparel Manufacturing, Product Development, Apparel Design, or equivalent work experience • Experience leading and supporting the work of others to align with overall technical fit strategy • Strong knowledge of the garment production process, from pattern making to fitting experience and overall improving the quality of a garment while maintaining cost efficiencies • Knowledge of fabrics • Ability to lead live fittings and evaluate overall fit with understanding to make necessary fit/pattern corrections to achieve the desired fit • Ability to effectively communicate with vendors regularly (written and verbal) • Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability • Team-oriented; ability to excel in a team-based structure • Approach deadlines with a sense of urgency • Exceptional follow-up skills and ability to analyze workload and plan accordingly • Must be able to stand for extended periods • Proficient in Excel, Google Suite, and Illustrator At Lulus, we believe our people are our greatest asset and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we can attract and retain the best talent.
