The Loss Prevention Associate will greet everyone upon entry, ensure no harmful items enter and only authorized items leave the facility. • Main entrance access control for authorized employees and invited visitors according to company protocols • Issues parking passes to authorized employees and ensure parking assignments are logged and accurate • Monitors employees and vendors, vehicles and equipment entering and exiting the facility to ensure compliance with Company, Federal and State regulations, policies, and procedures • Demonstrate a bias for action and strong commitment for security in our fast-paced environment while following applicable policy and procedure • Conduct daily activities as directed by Loss Prevention Supervisor and LP leadership • Assist in improving the work environment, by suggesting and implementing ideas for greater efficiency and the overall quality of a safe and secure work environment • Ability to share important information with on-site security guards and employees, one-on-one, in groups, and in written form • Provide feedback to Loss Prevention Supervisor and/or Loss Prevention leadership of any escalations, incidents or pertinent information received while on site. • Ability to work various schedules, including afternoons, overnight, and early mornings, including occasional overtime to meet business needs • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information • Ability to work within set time frames and fixed deadlines • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks or projects • Demonstrated familiarity with retail distribution technical terms and processes • Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary • Solid knowledge and understanding of Security, Loss Prevention, and Safety programs • Ability to handle/manage rapidly changing priorities with sense of urgency.
