LEASE ADMINISTRATOR

Job Summary: To oversee and track all leases within The Children’s Place portfolio and support the Manager of Lease Administration with various projects. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Maintain and ensure 100% data integrity within Real Estate Management software for entire portfolio of over 700 leases Review and interpret lease language to determine critical dates, such as sales kick-outs, early terminations, co-tenancies and renewal options Monitor critical dates and send all Landlord correspondence relating to our lease actions Maintain and publish weekly Lease Status Report to track lease negotiation process from approval to execution Work with Store Operations to maintain storage leases for our stores Review and analyze key lease agreement information into our database; including all monthly recurring rent. Work closely with Real Estate and Legal in an ongoing effort to develop efficient leasing procedures Assist in distributing all incoming landlord notices Assist in CAM and Tax reconciliations Assist with any Real Estate projects as needed Provide backup to compliance team as needed for rent payments Additional roles, tasks, responsibilities as needed. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred 3 - 5 years of experience in related role Paralegal experience is a plus Skills and Behaviors: Working knowledge of retail real estate, with experience in lease accounting and lease auditing. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrated organizational skills and proven attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills, across all levels Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment Positive can do attitude, effective interpersonal skills, and a high level of team work and cooperation Knowledge of CoStar a plus
