Inspire and lead organizational growth through creative problem solving, critical thinking and action oriented approach. Responsible for leading Talent Development programs, daily activities of Associate Designer(s), development and delivery of learning content. Manage projects, programs and resources ensuring successful delivery Lead the activities of an Associate Designer Balance data, intuition and manager support to make decisions Sponsor Talent Development Learning Programs including developing/ managing project plans, leading progress communication and overseeing budget Manage multiple workstream projects with multiple team members and business partners Select and manage vendor partnership(s) as needed Design and develop meaningful learning content for intermediate and advanced scope Apply advanced adult learning theory to match skill gap with learning solution Match design strategy to business needs, budgets, and time constraints Share contemporary adult learning theory acumen and industry trends with others Communicate ideas and strategy to team members and stakeholders Redirect business partners to appropriate learning strategy or method Foster a high performing team through engagement, development, resource management, and communication Inspire Associate Designer career growth through coaching, feedback and development opportunities Create a safe environment where inclusion, authenticity and courage are central Drive a learning culture where curiosity and innovation thrive Guide the future of the team and drive operational efficiencies with speed, agility and optimism Possess strong facilitation abilities that resonate across varied audiences Present complex content in a face-to-face or virtual classroom setting Deliver content that has an ambiguous or uncertain path and or outcome Share contemporary instruction and facilitation trends Facilitate large groups or intact team activities Advise through acumen, relationship building and influence Communicate and maintain integrity of the project learning strategy in multiple workstreams Match communication method and depth to audience needs Determine whether business request needs a learning solution or business solution Facilitate individuals and or groups to conscious outcome Required Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and personal development People management and influencing skills Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design Project management; able to manage delivery of initiatives to meet learning objective on time and to budget Facilitation skills Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Preferred 5+ years relevant experience in HR and a BA or BS degree, with an emphasis on HR instructional design, adult learning Experience selecting and managing learning vendor contracts Experience with Risk and Compliance Training initiatives Kohl's is an equal Opportunity Employer and an organization that values and encourages diversity amongĀ our applicants.
