Position Overview The Freelance Outerwear Designer will be directly supporting the women’s design team by assisting with their daily needs. The Freelance Outerwear Designer will be creating CAD’s and sketches, creating tech packs, working on line sheets and conducting research on trends to assist with the upcoming season. Candidates for the Freelance Outerwear Designer position must have experience working on outwear including puffer jackets, raincoats, wool coats, and other cold weather pieces.Responsibilities Support the design team Conduct trend research Develop sketches and CADs for upcoming season Communicate with internal and external partners Prepare linesheets Sketch in photoshop or illustrator Create and modify tech packs Qualifications 5 Years+ of design experience Must have experience with Outerwear Jr. design experience Candidate must be comfortable working in office for 2 days a week Solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong multi-tasking skills
