Job Description: In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service in point of sale and customer services processes while focusing on consistent execution and operational efficiency. What You'll Do as Kohl's Store Associate: • Welcome and assist customers effectively by guiding them through product and service options. Operate a cash register, scan items, bag purchases, and handle a variety of payment methods securely • Implement point-of-sale and customer service standards as outlined by the company, focusing on providing speedy, friendly, and efficient service that meets customer expectations • Attain or outperform individual objectives like credit and retention • Secure inventory correctness by ensuring accurate completion of all obligatory point of sale and product disposition practices • Support the instruction of newly hired service team members on the training process by showcasing the best practices to follow, teaching them the proper point of sale protocols, and highlighting the utilization of available tools and resources to meet Kohl's brand guidelines • Take part in the daily service functions by completing tasks like balancing registers, reconciling cash transactions, and replenishing supplies as needed Required Skills and Experience of Kohl's Store Associate: • Exhibiting strong customer service skills and a knack for multitasking while maintaining a high level of precision in tasks • The ability to effectively communicate through speech and writing, in addition to possessing strong interpersonal skills, is fundamental for advancing in one's career • Not required to have past retail involvement • Only those who are 16 years or older may take part • Wide-ranging scheduling options, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
