Role Description The Key Holder Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in South Portland, ME. This role is responsible for delivering personalized customer service, supporting guests with product selection, sizing, and styling, and achieving individual and store sales goals. The Key Holder also assists with opening and closing the store, securing the premises, and following cash handling and operational procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining visual standards, replenishing merchandise, processing transactions, and supporting inventory and stockroom tasks. The Key Holder Sales Associate collaborates closely with store leadership and teammates to ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment and a seamless in-store experience for every guest.
Qualifications
Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to engage guests, understand their needs, and recommend products that meet fit and style preferences.Basic retail operations skills, such as handling cash and POS transactions, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and following loss prevention and safety guidelines.Merchandising and store presentation skills to maintain visual standards, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor and fitting rooms are neat and well-stocked.Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build rapport with a diverse range of customers.Reliability and time-management skills, including consistent punctuality, the ability to stand for extended periods, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Prior retail or apparel experience is preferred; experience with Big + Tall customers or fashion styling is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; willingness to learn and grow into additional responsibilities and leadership support.
