### The Role

As a Keyholder, you will assist with the daily operations of our Savannah, GA retail store. This includes driving sales, serving our customers, and safeguarding store assets. You'll come to understand the overall brand of Southern Tide—our lifestyle, our customer, and our merchandise. You'll present and sell merchandise consistent with the brand by interacting with customers and making tailored suggestions.

You'll provide ideas to management on merchandising, floor displays, store fixturing, advertising, and promotion that can improve sales. Building a personal client book is part of the role, fostering lasting customer relationships.

### Key Responsibilities

- Learn the point-of-sale software system and be able to troubleshoot in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Use the system effectively for routine register transactions, inventory receiving and transfers, and opening and closing registers and the store.

- Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge with customers, providing prompt recommendations and professional service to enhance their shopping experience—including fit, fashion wardrobing advice, and suggesting add-ons.

- Actively participate in all store-related meetings, working towards exceeding sales and service performance goals set by store management.

- Operate the store consistently with company policies and procedures. Safeguard store assets, maintain inventory integrity, and prevent shrink to the extent reasonable. Assist in performing cycle counts and year-end comprehensive physical inventory. Open and close registers and the store in the absence of the manager or assistant manager.

- Ability to multitask and keep everything organized, taking initiative when needed

- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision or direction

- Comfortable being flexible when needing to problem solve

### Qualifications

- **Education:** High School diploma or GED

- **Experience:** 2+ years of retail experience

- **Technical Skills:** Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Word

- **Physical Requirements:** Bending, stooping, kneeling required. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- **Schedule Flexibility:** Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
